Epiphany 2016- Throwing of the Cross
With the Blessings of our Hierarchs and Bishop our Church & Community of St Savvas of Kalymnos Sydney had its first Epiphany/Theophany service and the throwing of the Cross in Carrs Park Bush Tidal Baths- which is part of the Georges River. What a blessing to see over 100+ faithful take part and 10 divers participate young and old, with the lucky winner being Mr Mihalis Klapsis who recently came from Kalymnos Greece. A BBQ picnic and lunch followed in the park. Another successful event for our church and community where all had a memorable enjoyable Day. A great Blesssing!
