His Eminence Archbishop Makarios visits our Parish! Holodomor 90th Anniversary Memorial
With great joy today Sunday 26th November 2023, our parish was blessed to have our Archbishop His Eminence Makarios of Australia visit our church and lead the Hierarchical Matins, Divine Liturgy & the 90th Anniversary Holodomor memorial. At the end of the service, His Eminence also unveiled our church's new sheltered Pergola court yard/BBQ Child Play area & was then welcomed by all in the Parish hall where lunch was served in his honour. Many Distinguished guests were present including the local Mayor of Bayside council Mr Bill Saravinovski who also represented the Minister of Multiculturalism & local Member of Rockdale Mr Steven Kamper & Mr Nick Katris, councilor of Bayside council.
