Greek Night & Annual General Meeting

It was a blessed and productive weekend for our Church & Community of St Savvas of Kalymnos. Starting off with our first ever Greek Family night at the Great Taste of Greece Restaurant-Kogarah Bay, and the next day after our Sunday Divine Liturgy our First AGM meeting took place. Both events were a success, with our Greek Family night being sold out- and the restaurant being full to the max & all had an enjoyable evening. Our Church and Community''s First AGM was also a success held straight after Sundays Liturgy & was well attended by the many members of our Church and Community. During the meeting our new 12 member Committee was elected as were the executive positions. To see such a strong turnout and productive, successful AGM & with the new Committee elected was a testament that although 'others' who call themselves Orthodox Christians have tried their best to shut us down in the past year, with the protection of Our Lord & St Savvas we have been blessed and continue to grow steadily, exactly one year since we first began. Glory to God!!
