Our New Premises & First Divine Liturgy Scheduled

Beloved Brothers & Sisters in Christ & Members of our Church & Community.

On Behalf of our Executive Committee of our new establishing Church & Community of St Savvas of Kalymnos, we would like to announce that on the 5th December (St Savvas the Sanctified’s feast day), our own miracle & Blessing took place. We were able to secure, sign contracts and get keys of our new Premises-Hall which we will be using for all our Liturgies, Services and Social Gatherings, until we are able to purchase or build our Beloved Saints Church in the Future. This was the first important step, finding a full time premises for us to use and we thank our Lord & St Savvas !

As such, we would like to announce that on SUNDAY 21ST DECEMBER 2014 8am, at our New Premises/HALL located at:

1st Level , 220 Princes Hwy Kogarah Bay 2217 (Corner of Park Rd & Princess HWY- Across Red Rooster) we will conduct the FIRST EVER LITURGY of our Saint. A Historic Event!

Parking is situated at the rear of the building (off Park Rd), or ample parking in the side streets off Park Rd or across the Princess Hwy.

After the Divine Liturgy there will be Refreshments & Cakes for all!

PLEASE TELL YOUR FAMILY & FRIENDS AND SUPPORT OUR INITIATIVE AND OUR BELOVED SAINT SAVVAS OF KALYMNOS.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, all will have the opportunity to receive blessings & venerate St Savvas own Holy Petrahili (Vestment), and an icon he hand Painted himself in 1919. These treasures will be permanently housed in his new church once built!
